In the source code $g{...} is used but it's not clear what this is.
There should be a reference to the groovy documentation?

The about page doesn't work

Maybe a small text that says you can change the locale of the browser on the 'settings' page
by clicking in the menu right.

Some explanation about what has to be done to get it all working (spring/wiring?)

It's unclear wether or not the settings has to be that specific snippet. Also want to know how to make a settings page manually (ex. I want a small selection list of available languages for
this application (fr, en, nl)
