Allow to specify that a field is a multi-value field. Would work in combination with any of the datatypes.

Allow this only in combination with selection lists, or also manual entry of multiple values (more difficult for frontend)? Also manual, think list of authors.

Treating the multiple values as an ordered list would also be useful, as is allowing duplicate entries.

Involves handling storage, transport, search, object model, ...
